Redeemer Church began in 2014 through the Engage Church Planting Network, when nine families committed to establishing a church in Winterset. Over the past twelve years, God has blessed us beyond our hopes and prayers. We have seen people come to faith in Christ, missionaries sent, ministries started, and our church family grow.
After years of gathering in rented spaces, God provided land and a permanent home for Redeemer. Our building now serves as a place for worship, discipleship, biblical counseling, fellowship, and outreach throughout the week. We are grateful for how God is using this space to serve our church family and our community.
Our Goal: Become Debt-Free
Just $100,000 remains on our building debt. This year’s Harvest Offering is an opportunity to come together and pay it off.
Freedom to Fund the Future means freeing up resources currently committed to debt payments so we can invest more fully in ministry. This building is a tool for sharing the gospel, caring for people, and equipping believers—and we want to make the most of what God has entrusted to us.
Looking Ahead
As God leads and provides, becoming debt-free will help us pursue opportunities such as:
- New ministries that meet needs in our church and community and create opportunities to share Christ.
- A building addition to provide more room for ministry, discipleship, and fellowship.
- Parking lot improvements to better accommodate our church family and welcome guests.
- A new church plant to carry the gospel into another community, continuing the church planting work through which Redeemer began.
- Internships and ministry training to equip future pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders.
These are opportunities we can prayerfully consider as we plan for the future. Paying off our debt gives us greater freedom to respond when those doors open.

Please prayerfully consider giving above your regular tithe toward our Harvest Offering. Every gift helps bring us closer to becoming debt-free.
Visit the Giving Tree on the wall at church and choose a leaf labeled with a dollar amount that represents your gift. The QR code on the back of each leaf takes you directly to online giving for the Harvest Offering fund.
You can give anytime:
- Online or in the Church Center app: Select “Harvest Offering” from the fund dropdown.
- By check: Write “Harvest Offering” in the memo line and place your check in the offering box.
